Job Description:
We're seeking a dynamic and analytical Senior Credit Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. This individual will play a key role in credit and risk assessment, partnering closely with senior leadership and underwriting teams to support the quality and profitability of the loan portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who excels in financial analysis, credit evaluation, and decision-making, and is eager to contribute to the development of innovative lending products. 2+ years of experience in credit analysis or underwriting, reporting directly to the CRO Strong focus on cash flow analysis, risk assessment, and loan pricing (including pricing caps) Required proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling Core underwriting experience evaluating borrower creditworthiness and repayment ability Regular analysis of P&L statements, balance sheets, and bank statements Manage deal sizes ranging from $100K to $10M, with CRO involvement on $1M+ deals High-volume environment handling ~30 files per day, taking deals from start to finish Collaborative work style with other analysts and credit team members Preferred experience with Salesforce, plus strong communication and phone skills (including funding calls) Ideal candidate shows confidence, ownership, and mentoring potential Clear growth path toward a Team Lead role with leadership responsibilities Strong preference for candidates outside of MCA (merchant cash advance) backgrounds Culture is young, fast-paced, and growth-oriented, favoring driven and ambitious individuals Fully on-site, 5 days/week - no exceptions Role includes credit memo preparation, borrower evaluation, and contribution to credit policy and product development
