Job Description

Description This role centers on balancing risk, relationships, and cash flow in a dynamic business environment. We are partnering with our client to identify a Credit Analyst who will evaluate customer financial health, guide credit decisions, and influence collection strategies while maintaining strong partnerships with both internal teams and external customers. This position plays a meaningful role in protecting revenue while enabling sustainable growth. Responsibilities Assess customer creditworthiness through analysis of financial statements, trade data, and market indicators Recommend credit limits and payment terms aligned with company policy and risk tolerance Monitor account trends and proactively identify customers with increased credit risk Review and release orders from credit hold in accordance with established controls Engage with customers to address outstanding balances and support timely payment resolution Work cross-functionally with sales, deductions, and customer service to resolve disputes Assist with cash application functions including posting payments and managing offsets Support month-end close activities through reporting and journal entry preparation Respond to external credit inquiries and maintain professional communication standards Coordinate customer master data updates and new account setup requests Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. Experience Three to five years of business-to-business credit experience Experience analyzing financial statements and managing customer credit exposure Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial risk Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage priorities and follow up on open items effectively
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
