What you'll do: During this 10-week program, you'll be embedded within a specific business area — such as banking, risk, operations, finance, or technology — working on projects that support real team objectives. You'll also collaborate with fellow interns on an AI-focused capstone project, participate in professional development programming, and engage with leaders across the organization. Contribute to department assignments aligned to business needs Analyze data, support process improvements, and assist with research Participate in weekly development workshops and executive speaker sessions Work with your intern team to tackle an AI-driven business challenge Present your final project and insights to senior leadership Build meaningful relationships across the bank through networking and team activities What you'll do -
Credit Admin/SBA Lending:
The overall goal is to provide a wide range of hands-on experiences that enhances the candidate's knowledge about small business lending, analysis and processes as well Customers Bank in general. Assist SBA Credit Team and Portfolio Team in spreading, reviewing, analyzing financials statements for new and existing Borrowers Assist in in preparing Credit Approval Memorandums and annual reviews. Incorporate standard ways to incorporate AI to simplify preparation. Understand the new SBA loan life cycle from initial request through booking and portfolio management through hands on experiences in sales, credit, closing and post-closing processes. Possibly spend time in Credit Admin's Small Business Lending Group and Appraisal and Environmental Review teams to learn their role in credit administration. Assist in other related projects to be determined as determined by manager. What do you need? Rising senior (Class of 2027) pursuing a bachelor's degree Interest in banking, financial services, business, technology, or analytics Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Curiosity and a willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment Ability to work full-time for the 10-week summer program Customers Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
