Job Description
Credit Analyst — Community Banking Full-Time | On-Site | Missouri-Based Community Bank Are you a professional who would thrive in a relationship‑focused, community banking environment? Our growing, locally owned bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to support our commercial lending team and strengthen our credit culture. This role plays a key part in protecting the bank's portfolio quality while supporting local businesses across the St. Louis region. - Complete detailed financial statement and tax return analysis for commercial and industrial (C&I), commercial real estate (CRE), agricultural, and consumer credit requests.
- Prepare comprehensive written credit memos and risk rating recommendations.
- Support lenders in structuring loans in compliance with bank policy, FDIC guidelines, and Missouri banking regulations.
- Monitor the existing commercial loan portfolio, including annual reviews, covenant tracking, and early identification of credit deterioration.
- Assist in concentration analysis, stress testing, and other regulatory reporting needs. Knowledge/Skills

- Strong work ethic and self-motivated
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, analytical writing and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Excel and Word Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Commercial credit analysis or commercial lending experience in a bank environment Work Environment
