Under the direction of the VP Credit, the Credit Analyst II is responsible for providing advanced credit analysis for commercial and/or agricultural lending activities. This role requires a deeper understanding of complex financial structures and borrower relationships, including multi-entity and global cash flow analysis. This role will conduct various appraisal and evaluation functions based on more complex situations, and assistance in completion of special projects and assignments. Major Duties and Responsibilities Perform advanced financial spreading and analysis using loan analysis software. Independently input and interpret complex financial data including tax returns, debt schedules, personal financial statements, and collateral/appraisal data. Analyze multi-entity structures and prepare global cash flow assessments. Develop and present detailed credit scores or risk ratings on larger borrowers for loan officers and loan committees, incorporating credit scoring, stress-testing, and risk mitigation strategies. Monitor overall compliance with Bank's Appraisal Policy, prepare internal evaluations for loans that meet the requirements, manage the ordering and receipt of all commercial appraisals, perform commercial appraisal reviews, addendums, and endorsements, and re-evaluate commercial appraisals at the time of subsequent renewal. Assist with preparation of various reports for the Monthly and Quarterly Board presentation. Provides regulators and auditors with information needed to assess company's compliance with loan review policies and procedures and reserve adequacy methods. Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, the Office of Foreign Assets Control and security policies and procedures. A college degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. 2-5 years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail for reviewing financial documents and ensuring compliance. Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal). ADA Requirements Physical Requirements Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Working Conditions Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise. Mental and/or Emotional Requirements Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
