Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Program Manager - PCI Credit Card Device Deployment to join a leading healthcare system. This is a full‑time, full‑time, 12 month contract‑to‑hire, hybrid role based in Philadelphia, PA. This role is supporting a large‑scale initiative to replace existing credit card devices across the enterprise. The Program Manager will lead device ordering, testing, deployment, and tracking activities while driving the organization toward PCI compliance and partnering closely with IT, security, and business stakeholders. Responsibilities of the Program Manager -
PCI Credit Card Device Deployment:
Lead a large‑scale program to replace credit card devices across the entire healthcare system. Develop and execute a comprehensive deployment plan, including device ordering, testing, staging, rollout scheduling, and go‑live coordination. Drive activities required to remediate gaps and bring the organization into PCI compliance. Coordinate deployment timelines and logistics with individual departments to minimize operational disruption. Partner closely with IT infrastructure, networking, security, vendors, and business stakeholders to support deployment execution. Maintain detailed tracking of devices, deployment status, issues, risks, and dependencies. Provide clear leadership‑level status reporting using Excel and PowerPoint. Manage vendor coordination, inventory tracking, and logistics related to device procurement and installation. Identify and resolve deployment, scheduling, or technical challenges in a timely manner. Ensure strong communication and stakeholder alignment throughout the lifecycle of the program. Support documentation and audit readiness related to PCI and security requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned to support program and organizational goals.
Qualifications / Requirements
for the Program Manager -
PCI Credit Card Device Deployment:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience 7+ years of project or program management experience Proven experience leading large‑scale equipment or technology deployments Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate deployments across multiple departments in a remote environment General understanding of networking concepts sufficient to manage technical teams and vendors Strong attention to detail with exceptional tracking, organization, and reporting skills Experience producing leadership and executive‑level status reports (Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to manage multiple workstreams and timelines concurrently Preferred / Nice‑to‑
Have Qualifications:
Experience with credit card workflows or POS systems Familiarity with certificate‑based wireless authentication Experience working in PCI‑regulated environments Healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated industry experience PMP or other project management certification Compensation for the Program Manager -
PCI Credit Card Device Deployment:
