The individual will be responsible for identifying problem credits, developing workout and resolution strategies, minimizing potential losses, and managing distressed relationships through restructuring, recovery, liquidation, or legal enforcement. Key Responsibilities Manage criticized, classified, impaired, and distressed CRE and C&I loan portfolios. Develop and execute loan workout, restructuring, and resolution strategies. Conduct borrower, guarantor, and collateral financial analysis. Evaluate property-level financial information, including appraisals, rent rolls, and operating statements. Monitor risk ratings and recommend appropriate credit classifications. Manage impairment analysis, charge-offs, and loan accounting. Handle bankruptcy, receivership, litigation, foreclosure, deeds-in-lieu, and UCC enforcement proceedings. Prepare credit memorandums, workout plans, and presentations for credit committees. Support CECL processes, regulatory examinations, audits, and Board reporting. Coordinate with outside counsel, collection agencies, vendors, and internal relationship managers. Provide guidance and mentorship to Relationship Managers and support collections activities. Required Qualifications At least 7 years of commercial banking experience. Approximately 3-5 years of direct special assets, loan workout, or collections experience. Strong experience managing complex CRE and commercial lending relationships. Experience with criticized/classified loans, risk ratings, and loan accounting. Knowledge of bankruptcy, foreclosure, collateral enforcement, and loan recovery. Strong financial analysis, negotiation, credit assessment, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications CPLM or CCO certification. Experience with complex commercial real estate workouts and distressed commercial credits.
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
