Makes credit decisions within designated lending authority. Prepares loan presentation packages as required. Participates in Board presentations as required. Prepares and completes Annual Reviews as designated by Sr. Credit Officer or Chief Credit Officer. Primary Activities (Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Analyzes loan data on new, renewal and existing loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, other financial institutions, and financial institution files. Prepares spreadsheet, reports, summaries and Memos on new, renewal, and existing loans. Prepares presentation package for Executive Credit Committee and Board as needed. Assures all basic underwriting guidelines are met. Oversees and manages financial information files to assure current reports, statements, accounts receivable and other information on customer accounts. Performs credit inquiries for the financial institution as requested. Establishes, reviews and updates new and existing loan files for the financial institution on a regular basis. Provides technical advice and assistance to loan officers throughout the Bank as needed. Maintains expertise in new and current analysis procedures. Maintains expertise in new and changing underwriting guidelines and industry regulations. Adheres to Bank credit standards and works constructively with and abides by credit department guidelines. Assists in the production of any required BOD reports, exception tracking and clear to close function. Maintains appropriate compliance tracking as required. Underwrite and decision Consumer, Mortgage and Commercial Loan Requests Approve requests within individual lending authority Assist Senior Credit Officer with creating more efficiencies within the department Perform Loan Relationship Annual Reviews Competency/Skill Level (The behaviors, knowledge, and motivations important to success in the job.)
