BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY
: The Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for managing the bank's credit risk while supporting our commercial loan growth. You will be responsible for leading the credit analyst team in evaluating complex commercial and consumer credit requests with you often conducting the most complex credits evaluations; organizing, assigning and leading our annual review program of existing credits at the bank; leading and conducting our annual market analysis reports; conducting deep-dive financial analysis; and structuring loans that protect the bank while helping our clients succeed. You will also serve as a supervisor to our credit analysts and a strategic partner to our Loan officers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Duties, Skills, Responsibilities and Expectations:
Prepare and review comprehensive credit memorandums and recommendations for loan approvals. Ensure all loan structures and underwriting comply with bank policies, credit culture, and regulatory guidelines. Analyze complex financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to assess creditworthiness. Contact lenders, borrowers, and/or preparers of these financial statements to gain clarity. Conduct and review financial statement spreading and analysis for loan customers. Conduct and review annual loan review program including risk rating analysis through financial analysis, stress test analysis, and market analysis. Conduct and review industry and market analysis to understand economic impacts on borrowers. Partner with Chief Credit Officer, loan officers and credit analysts to gather necessary information for loan requests, market analysis reports, internal bank reports, etc. Coordinate and support internal audits, independent loan reviews, regulatory examinations, and other credit-related reviews; ensure timely remediation of identified findings and recommendations. Monitor loan portfolio performance and identify emerging credit risks, industry concentrations, policy exceptions, and adverse trends; recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. Supervise, coordinate, and prioritize the daily activities of Credit Analysts to ensure timely completion of underwriting requests, annual reviews, and portfolio monitoring responsibilities. Review analysts work product for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with established underwriting standards, credit policies, and regulatory expectations. Provide coaching, mentoring, technical guidance, and professional development opportunities to Credit Analysts to strengthen analytical capabilities and departmental effectiveness. Perform other duties and special projects assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
: Proficient in computer (Word and Excel) and general office skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information. Advanced proficiency in cash flow analysis (including UCA and global cash flow methodology) High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills Excellent verbal & written communication skills Flexibility to deal with interruptions, changing priorities, and deadlines Good command of credit related financial modeling and analysis technique Ability to read and understand regulations, policies, and procedures Interpersonal skills including courtesy, tact, and diplomacy as giving and obtaining information may require some discussion of a sensitive or personal nature Required Education Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or related field Previous bank analyst experience is strongly preferred
