The role is responsible for reviewing consumer loan applications to determine consistent and effective compliance with policy, procedures, and regulatory compliance at American Airlines Credit Union. What you'll do Complie and track new loan performance for lending staff to monitor the integrity of funded loans and effectively communicate findings with appropriate staff and management Make recommendations for enhancing quality assurance checks when system changes are made Analyze loan application trends that indicate the need for underwriting changes or clarification Analyze loan applications for the possibility of fraud Monitor account and loan pipeline compliance Monitor exception reports to ensure integrity of data during the life of the loan Reconcile Loan and Title suspense general ledger accounts Make recommendations for training and procedural improvements in an effort to prevent future errors Make recommendations to enhance consumer lending policies, procedures and underwriting guidelines Assist with special projects Serve as backup for New Account Quality Assurance representatives Perform other duties as assigned the selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act. All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience High School diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree in Business or another field relevant to the position, or equivalent relevant industry experience Previous banking or Credit Union experience Two years of Loan Officer experience Skills, Licenses & Certifications Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software Knowledge of Credit Union systems Ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement to minimize variations from policy or procedures Proficient in research, analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff Ability to perform in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks What you'll get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:
