Description Corporate Credit Manager
RC Willey is seeking a results-driven Corporate Credit Manager to lead our Collections team and ensure strong compliance, quality, and performance. This role oversees audits, enforces credit policies, and drives efficient collections processes that support business goals. The ideal candidate will collaborate across departments to resolve credit issues, maintain regulatory compliance, and lead initiatives that improve operations and reduce delinquency. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives on optimizing processes and building a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities Provide strong leadership and mentorship, including setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and supporting ongoing professional development.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delinquency rates, collection effectiveness, and compliance metrics to drive informed decision-making.
Conduct regular compliance audits to ensure adherence to internal credit policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations, including FDCPA, FCRA, Regulation Z (Truth in Lending), the CARD Act, the FACT Act, and state-specific requirements.
Serve as an active member of the Compliance Committee, contributing to governance and risk management initiatives.
Lead and oversee the Collections team to ensure timely recovery of outstanding accounts while continuously refining strategies to meet and exceed business objectives.
Lead negotiations with customers to establish repayment solutions and resolve escalated disputes, ensuring fair and satisfactory outcomes.
Perform quality assurance reviews of credit and collections activities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company standards.
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of credit and collections functions.
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Web, and Store teams to streamline credit processes and resolve customer issues efficiently.
Stay current on industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies to continuously strengthen credit management practices.
Collaborate with legal counsel, third-party agencies, and internal stakeholders as needed.
Manage vendor relationships for departmental supplies and oversee the timely delivery of customer statements (both electronic and paper).
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the full financing lifecycle, from application through outside collections.
Maintain a working knowledge of bankruptcy processes.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of leadership experience with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams and driving results in credit, risk assessment, and collections.
Strong coaching, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to balance customer outcomes and company standards.
Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with STORIS or similar systems preferred.
Working knowledge of billing processes, credit operations, and effective collection strategies.
