Accounting Full Job Description Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Audit Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive reviews of clients' credit reports, identify inaccurate, outdated, misleading, or unverifiable information, and prepare detailed audit reports that support customized credit improvement strategies. You will work closely with Credit Consultants and Client Success Specialists to ensure every client receives accurate recommendations and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Review credit reports from all major credit bureaus. Analyze credit histories and identify negative items requiring further investigation. Prepare detailed credit audit reports with actionable recommendations. Verify the accuracy and completeness of reported credit information. Maintain accurate client records within the company's CRM system. Collaborate with Credit Consultants to develop individualized credit improvement plans. Monitor client progress throughout the credit restoration process. Ensure compliance with applicable consumer protection and credit reporting regulations. Communicate audit findings clearly to internal teams and clients when needed. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. 1-3 years of experience in credit analysis, financial services, banking, credit repair, or a related industry. Strong understanding of consumer credit reports and credit scoring principles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software. Ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Pay:
$24.70 - $30.00 per hour
