Corporate Office:
2355 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027 The Consumer Lending Coordinator II or III supports a centralized funding & loan servicing department responsible for processing & funding indirect auto loans and servicing a variety of consumer loans. The role analyzes loan packages for accuracy, Credit Union compliance and quality standards, along with completing various loan maintenance tasks. The Consumer Lending Coordinator III is considered a subject matter expert that is fully knowledgeable of current policies & procedures to optimize loan growth and promote safe lending practices. Essential Functions Reviews consumer auto loan applications received from indirect dealer partners and verifies stipulations, including but not limited to income, vehicle registration, and insurance verification. Validates signed loan documents for accuracy and fraud prevention. Funds loans and reviews final product for quality assurance. Establishes membership for new indirect members, adhering to regulatory compliance standards. Prepares modification forms for loan maintenance that require member signature. Ensures loan accounts are updated upon receipt of the form. Supports internal phone queue for associates with questions regarding loan processing and funding for all consumer loans. Clarifies procedures and guidelines. Provides guidance with funding outages and other system errors. Supports external phone queue for dealers calling with indirect loan funding questions. Establishes a positive rapport with dealer partners to promote a positive relationship with the Credit Union. Completes loan maintenance on various consumer loan types, including but not limited to rate changes, term extensions, and payment modifications. Completes loan payoffs and title/lien release on collateralized loans. Assists with title work processing. Receives and verifies insurance submissions. Offers supplemental assistance with the Consumer Loan Servicing help desk. Collaborates with internal business partners to provide training & support. Provides quality adherence (QA) audits of all consumer loans across the Credit Union. Creates, reviews, and updates consumer loan procedures, job aids, and guidelines. Assists with other projects that may occur with consumer loans, including new lending products, marketing promotions, and procedural changes. Completes testing and validation for system upgrades. What You Bring High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree or completion of specialized consumer lending courses preferred. 5 to 8 years of similar or related experience consumer loan funding, indirect auto loans, or banking experience required. Strong communication skills, including technical writing and ability to facilitate training & presentations. Ability to focus with strong attention to detail. Reliability, punctual, ability to work independently.
