This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a hands-on lending professional with strong California private money or commercial real estate lending experience who can protect investor interests, communicate clearly, and take ownership of difficult loan situations. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day loan servicing activities, including payments, payoffs, reconveyances, and borrower and investor communication. Monitor delinquencies, senior liens, property taxes, insurance, and other risk indicators to identify issues early and take appropriate action. Negotiate directly with borrowers on workouts, loan modifications, forbearance agreements, and resolution strategies. Manage Notice of Default and foreclosure processes from initiation through completion in coordination with trustees and legal counsel. Coordinate with bankruptcy counsel, foreclosure attorneys, and eviction counsel to protect loan and investor interests. Manage REO properties acquired through foreclosure, including preservation, oversight, marketing, sale coordination, investor updates, distributions, and final entity wind-down.
