This role is ideal for a highly accurate mortgage servicing professional who understands the full lifecycle of private money loan administration, including note and trust deed servicing, payoff demands, reconveyances, modifications, compliance reporting, delinquency management, and foreclosure coordination. The Loan Servicing Representative will work in a professional, detail-driven setting where accuracy, discretion, and sound judgment are essential. This is a strong opportunity for someone who values supportive leadership, clear communication, positive teamwork, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on borrowers, investors, and internal operations. Success in this role requires technical expertise, calm professionalism, and a commitment to handling every loan file with precision and accountability. Key Responsibilities Administer mortgage loan servicing from funding through payoff, including note and trust deed documentation, reconveyances, payoff demands, verifications of mortgage, modifications, and extensions. Process payment statements, delinquency notices, balloon payment notices, senior lien notices, reinstatement figures, and prepayment penalty calculations with a high degree of accuracy. Perform bank and trust account reconciliations and prepare quarterly and annual compliance reporting within required deadlines. Respond to borrower and investor inquiries, initiate outbound communication as needed, and explain financial resolutions clearly and professionally. Coordinate with escrow, title, foreclosure trustees, and legal partners to manage Notice of Default and foreclosure processes from initiation through completion. Follow up on lease affidavits and maintain tenant communication for rental properties when borrowers stop making monthly payments.
Compensation and Benefits Salary range:
$65,000 to $75,000 per year plus opportunity for performance bonuses Job type: Temp-to-hire.
