Overview & Position Summary This position supports the day-to-day activities of the Loan Services function by performing routine servicing tasks that contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of the lending lifecycle. This role helps ensure customer accounts are maintained in accordance with established procedures, regulatory guidelines, and service standards. This position collaborates with team members and internal departments to address inquiries, resolve servicing issues, and promote smooth operational flow. This role also contributes to a positive customer and employee experience by providing reliable, detail-oriented support. Primary Responsibilities Perform routine loan servicing tasks in alignment with established procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements. Respond to inquiries from internal partners by providing information, clarifying servicing actions, or routing issues appropriately. Process servicing updates, account changes, or documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Assist in identifying and resolving servicing discrepancies or documentation gaps. Support payment processing, escrow updates, or other servicing workflows as assigned. Communicate effectively with team members regarding status updates, required information, or follow-up actions. Maintain accurate records and system entries in accordance with organizational policies. Provide guidance to new or entry-level team members as needed. Escalate unusual or non-routine issues to supervisors for further review or resolution. Contribute to a collaborative and service-focused team environment.
Education & Experience Required:
Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in loan servicing, lending operations, or a related consumer lending support function High school diploma or equivalent required Experience supporting consumer lending or mortgage operations, including customer service, documentation handling, or loan servicing activities
Preferred:
Experience in mortgage or consumer lending servicing. Working knowledge of servicing systems, payment workflows, or escrow processes. Familiarity with regulatory requirements that impact loan servicing operations. Skills & Competencies Basic knowledge of loan servicing procedures and operational workflows. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret routine procedures and apply established policies. Organizational and time-management skills in a deadline-driven environment. Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Proficiency with servicing systems, LOS platforms, and office software tools. Problem-solving ability for routine servicing issues. Customer service orientation. Willingness to learn and adopt new processes. Working Conditions Work is performed in a general office or remote-office environment using computers, servicing systems, and communication technology. Workload may vary with servicing cycles, customer inquiries, and regulatory or procedural updates. Limited travel may be required for meetings, training, or team activities. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for prolonged periods while reviewing files or working in systems. Frequent use of computers, software, and communication tools. Ability to lift and carry light materials such as documents or office equipment. Ability to move within office environments as needed for meetings or collaboration. Ability to maintain focus during detailed data or documentation review.

$50,000 - $65,000
