Loan Operation Rep I#26-21288 $14.01-$17.51 per hour Lewiston, ME Onsite Job Description Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a Loan Operation Rep I for their Jacksonville, FL/Greenville, SC / Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for applying payments to loans, reviewing and evaluating loan applications, making approval or rejection decisions, and handling related administrative duties. The Loan Operations Representative II performs various administrative tasks involved in servicing Loans. Performs routine administrative tasks exercising some judgment and discretion in the performance of duties usually in support of a single unit or team within Loan Operations Tasks are varied and are usually performed independently within standard policies and procedures May review work of others to ensure accurate processing May preliminary research on suspicious items and reports findings to appropriate resource to help prevent fraudulent activities May make entries in general ledger related to paperwork and information processed May approve and review general ledger entries and/or invoices for accuracy and completeness May provide input and assistance to management in developing and maintaining budget as requested May identify, audit, and investigate departmental discrepancies Responds to basic and moderately complex inquiries and issues from Customers and internal units Researches information to provide responses and resolution May contact Customers to explain items affecting their accounts Follows up with branches and other units to resolve discrepancies and Customer issues
Requirements:
Must have skills: 1-2 Banking/ Financial institute experience Proficiency in Microsoft 365- Word, Excel and Outlook. Soft skills: Communication skills- written and verbal Multitasking and Prioritization skills Attention to detail Organization skills
Nice-to-have:
Loans experience
Skills:
Basic knowledge in lending and the real estate industry. Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Knowledge of basic accounting processes and procedures. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Education/experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred. 0-2 years experience required.
