full-time Field Point Servicing excels in offering comprehensive turn-key loan portfolio solutions tailored specifically for large investment funds. One of our clients is a $3bn alternative investment firm focused on credit opportunities and special situations. Together, we are seeking a Junior Analyst to join the team responsible for a recently acquired portfolio of corporate loans. This is an execution seat with direct exposure to portfolio management decisions and to the senior professionals responsible for the investment. The ideal candidate pairs credit fundamentals with genuine data analytics skills and is comfortable working with a large, granular loan-level data set. Responsibilities Build and maintain the loan-level record for the portfolio, including sourcing and reconciling data across servicing, accounting, and reporting systems Review loan and credit documentation and maintain accurate credit files Track each loan against a defined resolution path Collect borrower financial statements and maintain borrower write-ups Build and maintain loan-level cash flow and recovery models and report performance against underwriting Produce recurring portfolio analytics and segmentation across loan categories Coordinate with servicing and administrative counterparties on data and reporting Prepare recurring reporting for the investment committee Qualifications One to three years of experience in commercial credit, specialty finance, loan workout, loan servicing, restructuring, or lender-side investment banking Analyzes large, granular data sets to support investment decisions. Proficient in SQL, Python or R, advanced Excel, and a visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Strong credit and modeling skills, including spreading financials and building cash flow and recovery models Acute attention to detail and sound judgment across a high volume of individual credits Comfort in direct contact with borrowers, counterparties, and counsel Strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
