Great Plains Bank - 3.9 Oklahoma City, OK Job Details 10 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Microsoft Excel High school diploma or GED Productivity software Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Position Summary The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for the accurate processing, maintenance, and servicing of the Bank's loan portfolio. This position supports core loan system integrity, payment and escrow processing, participation accounting, and ongoing loan maintenance activities. The role requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of loan documentation, servicing procedures, and regulatory compliance Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.) Process loan renewals, extensions, and maintenance transactions. Perform loan boarding check-backs to verify accuracy of uploaded information. Analyze loans within the core operating system to ensure data integrity. Verify and balance manual input conducted at the branch level. Compute interest and payment amounts as required. Accept and process loan payments, including mortgage payments, transfers, and advances. Process escrow and insurance disbursements. Review and reconcile floor plan loans, including monitoring curtailments. Perform accounting functions related to participation sold loans. Work with loan documentation, credit files, and servicing procedures. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Train subordinate employees as needed. Provide operational support to branches and internal departments regarding servicing inquiries. Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and within a team environment Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven setting Sound judgment and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred. Minimum of one to three years of experience in loan servicing, loan operations, accounting, or related banking functions preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Ability Ability to solve practical and operational problems involving loan servicing functions and core system processes. Ability to interpret and apply written procedures, regulatory guidance, and verbal instructions in a variety of formats. Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret loan documentation, technical procedures, and applicable governmental regulations. Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence, and internal communications with accuracy and professionalism. Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from employees, customers, and external partners. Strong mathematical aptitude, including calculation of interest, payments, and loan-related figures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and loan servicing core systems required. Physical Demands This position may require prolonged periods of sitting or standing and extended keyboard use. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
