Loan Partner/Senior Assistant Loan Officer Tampa, FL 33610 Hybrid work $51,809.84 - $62,394.65 a year - Full-time $51,809.84 - $62,394.65 a year - Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Loan Partner/Senior Assistant Loan Officer to join our dedicated mortgage team. In this vital role, you will support the loan origination process from application to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. Your expertise in financial services, loan processing, and customer service will drive successful loan transactions while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities Assist borrowers throughout the loan application process, providing clear guidance and exceptional customer service Gather and verify all necessary documentation for loan approval, including income, assets, credit reports, and appraisal reports Collaborate with underwriters to facilitate smooth loan approvals by providing accurate information and addressing any conditions Prepare and review loan files using financial software such as Quicken and other mortgage servicing tools Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, TILA (Truth in Lending Act), FNMA (Fannie Mae) guidelines, and other federal and state lending laws Conduct credit analysis and basic math calculations to evaluate borrower eligibility and affordability Coordinate with escrow companies, title agencies, and banking partners to facilitate timely closings Skills Proven experience in mortgage loan origination, processing, or underwriting within a financial services environment Strong knowledge of FNMA guidelines, Fair Housing regulations, TILA requirements, and mortgage servicing procedures Proficiency with financial software such as Quicken, escrow systems, accounting software, and 10-key typing skills Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders throughout the loan process Ability to perform detailed credit analysis and basic math calculations accurately Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building trust and rapport with clients Familiarity with contracts, banking procedures, escrow processes, and loan documentation standards Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams through expert guidance and outstanding service.
