Loan Servicing Representative

Job Summary Loan Servicing Representative services all existing consumer loans and credit cards with the credit union. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills an take pride in helping others.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting members and other employees with Loan Servicing questions via inbound calls, email, and in person. Responding to requests for loan payoffs, letter of guarantees, and other requests made to the department from insurance companies, car dealerships, and others. Providing support to the department in various tasks, including auditing loan documents, processing lien releases and releasing titles, processing title paperwork, processing inbound/outbound mail, filing GAP and debt protection claims, and posting loan payoff checks. Handle incoming member inquiries related to loan payments, credit cards, and account status with enthusiasm and professionalism Process loan and credit card payments, adjustments, and disbursements accurately using 10-key typing skills and basic math proficiency Review and analyze credit information, supporting underwriting processes to ensure loans meet the credit union approved policy guidelines and other regulatory standards Manage loan documentation, including contracts and disclosures, ensuring compliance. Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower risk and support loan modifications or account resolutions Maintain detailed records of all servicing activities, including payment histories, and correspondence. Collaborate with loan officers and underwriters to facilitate seamless loan origination and servicing transitions. Skills Experience in loan origination, processing, or servicing within the financial services or banking sectors Ability to perform accurate basic math calculations essential for escrow analysis and payment processing Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry, record keeping, and communication—particularly 10-key typing skills Understanding of credit analysis techniques and loan processing workflows Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and regulatory agencies Experience in providing excellent customer service

Pay:

$37,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
