OVERVIEW

Determine appropriate action for high value cargo inspections.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Determine and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risk during cargo handling and transit of high value cargo.

Support mitigation and salvage efforts as directed by management.

Document inspection findings and risk assessments accurately and in a timely manner.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and management regarding cargo risk concerns.

Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and information.

Provide detailed reports and updates to management regarding claim status and resolution strategies.

Maintain records of claims, inspections, and resolutions for auditing and reporting purposes.

Maintain awareness of cargo security protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cargo claims handling and loss prevention.

Assist in identifying trends or recurring issues that may indicate systemic risk.

Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures

Perform other duties as required

MINIMUM EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

Three (3) years experience in a business related field.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Customer service experience.

Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Strong communication skills and human relations skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Job Conditions
