This role requires proficiency in both ocean and air freight operations, along with strong financial awareness and local logistics dispatching capabilities. You will serve as the core hub connecting clients, carriers, and customs clearance processes.
Core Responsibilities Multimodal Operations:
Manage full-process import and export operations for Ocean Freight and Air Freight to meet diverse client needs.
End-to-End Coordination:
Liaise with steamship lines and airlines for booking and cargo control; coordinate with Customs Brokers to complete clearance procedures.
Financial Settlement:
Handle billing and invoicing, arrange payments to carriers/vendors, and follow up on payment confirmations from clients.
Cargo Release:
Oversee the Cargo Release process once payments and documentation are verified as accurate.
Local Dispatch:
Arrange and schedule local Trucking to ensure the efficient flow of goods between ports, warehouses, and clients.
Communication Link:
Maintain bilingual communication (Chinese/English) to ensure seamless information flow between shippers, consignees, and vendors.
Qualifications Industry Experience:
Proven experience in international logistics or freight forwarding operations; familiarity with professional ocean and air freight processes.
Bilingual Proficiency:
Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin); capable of handling English emails and professional terminology while communicating effectively with all parties.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word); experience with logistics ERP systems is a plus.
Personal Attributes:
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility; ability to handle emergencies and work effectively within a team.
Work Authorization:
Must have valid legal work authorization in the United States.
