The position is responsible for the reviewing certain correspondent activity and supervision of Prime Brokerage and Professional Trading clients. The position conducts periodic due diligence reviews (tock deposits, ongoing correspondent due diligence, etc.), assess the impact of potential and enacted regulatory changes, and provides compliance recommendations as appropriate. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Supervises Prime Brokerage and monitoring of clearing activity Reviews receipt of low priced securities for correspondent clients Provides regulatory oversight by monitoring division

filings and reports and assists with resolution of rejections Monitors Large Trader activity and sends appropriate notices Provides ongoing correspondent due diligence reviews Reviews existing and emerging regulations, standards and/or guidance updates and makes recommendations to management on services to assist correspondents Drafts new and provides updates to division WSPs and reviews desk procedures to ensure compliance with the Firm's WSPs Performs other duties as required and assigned Experience and Skills 5+ Years of relative experience FINRA Series 7, 63/66, 24 requires FINRA Series 57, 9/10 preferred Knowledge of CAIS/CAT, Microcap Securities, Trade Reporting, Clearance/Settlement, DMA, Large Trader Rules, Restricted/Control securities, and Prime Brokerage Experience and understanding of broker-dealer operations and rules as they relate to fully disclosed broker-dealers and clearing firm responsibilities Experience in compliance-related or audit area Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various departments and levels of the organization Highly organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner What We Offer As part of our overall compensation package, Wedbush Securities offers an array of diverse benefits to all our colleagues.
