Job Description

Import/Export Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import/Export Specialist to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing international shipments, preparing and processing ocean Bills of Lading (BOLs), and coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs to ensure timely and compliant shipments. $50,000 – $60,000

Import/Export Specialist:
Prepare, review, and process ocean Bills of Lading (BOLs) and related shipping documents. Coordinate ocean freight shipments from booking through delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and vendors to track shipments and resolve issues. Maintain accurate records of import/export documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and international trade regulations. Monitor freight costs, transit times, and resolve discrepancies related to billing or shipment delays. Preferred Qualifications for the
Import/Export Specialist:
Previous experience in import/export logistics, preferably in ocean freight. Strong knowledge of ocean shipping documentation and processes. EB-1961399952
