Job Description
Customs Brokerage SupervisorWe are seeking an experienced Customs Brokerage Supervisor to lead day-to-day customs brokerage operations and support a high-performing team. This position is ideal for someone with strong customs brokerage experience who enjoys mentoring employees, improving processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional client service.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and mentor customs brokerage team membersAllocate workloads and ensure efficient daily operationsMonitor compliance with customs regulations, internal procedures, and customer requirementsReview processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiencyEnsure customs documentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintainedMonitor customs authorizations, guarantees, duty deferments, and related compliance requirementsPartner with management on employee development, performance, and departmental goalsSupport onboarding and transition of new client businessMaintain strong client relationships and assist with retention effortsMonitor accounts receivable, credit limits, and other departmental financial metricsReview departmental P&L and assist with planning and performance improvementSupport implementation of new systems, technology, and process enhancementsMaintain strong working relationships with customs and trade compliance partnersThis role is 100% onsite.
