Customs Entry Specialist

Responsibilities Prepare and review customs entry documentation in accordance with federal, state, and international regulations, including FDA regulations when applicable. Coordinate with freight carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely clearance of shipments. Monitor shipment statuses and resolve any customs-related issues promptly to prevent delays. Maintain accurate records of all customs entries, regulatory reports, and compliance documentation for audit purposes. Support regulatory reporting requirements by compiling data and preparing detailed reports on customs activities and compliance status. Qualifications Proven experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or logistics with a focus on customs entry processes. Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, transportation management, fleet management, and freight regulations. Familiarity with CargoWise Data Processing Knowledge of FDA regulations related to imported goods is highly desirable Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for collaborating with co-workers, carriers, regulatory agencies, and external partners. $24.88 - $29.96 per hour
