Job DescriptionSummary:
The purpose of the Import/Export Summer Internship is to review and analyze import and export codes to determine eligibility for tariff-related rebate opportunities and support cost recovery initiatives. This position supports cost-saving initiatives through detailed data analysis and cross-referencing data spreadsheets and charges.
QualificationsQualifications:
Education:
Ideal candidate will be pursuing or recently completed coursework in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
 Prior import/export experience is helpful but not required; this role is very suitable for someone looking to gain hands-on experience.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and analytical skillsAbility to review and compare data across documents (entry summaries, invoices, duty charges, etc.)Basic understanding of import/export processes (HTS, duties, brokerage)—or willingness to learnProficiency in Excel and comfort working with large data setsGood organizational and communication skillsAdditional InformationWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
