You won't just file claims; you ll be a recovery champion with the autonomy to drive impactful change and optimize processes that secure maximum duty, tax, and fee recovery. As a key member of our compliance team, you will: Architect and file meticulous duty drawback claims with U.S. Customs (CBP) to maximize recovery. Analyze import/export data from ACE and CargoWise to identify untapped recovery opportunities. Navigate regulatory landscapes, ensuring total adherence to U.S. Customs laws and HTS classifications. Champion process improvements that streamline claim efficiency and reporting accuracy. Collaborate with trade partners and, in time, serve as a professional liaison for valued clients. Duty Drawback Expertise:
Proven exposure to drawback programs and U.S. Customs regulations (19 CFR).
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and experience with HTS codes.
Systems Knowledge:
Demonstrated experience with ACE data, DutyCalc and CargoWise.
Credentials:
A Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) highly desired.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as this is a customer-facing role.
Education:
A degree in Supply Chain, International Business, or Accounting is a plus.
