In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant import of goods across international borders. - Facilitating the clearance of imported goods through customs
- Ensuring compliance with federal regulations and laws
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of customs laws and regulations
- Negotiating with government agencies on behalf of clients
- Preparing and submitting necessary documentation for customs clearance
- Working closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure a smooth customs process
- Communicating with carriers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of goods Customs Broker Qualifications & Skills
- Active Customs Broker License.
- Extensive experience in international trade and customs processes.
- Proficiency in customs brokerage software and technology.
- Strong understanding of global trade agreements and compliance standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English.
- Bachelor's degree in international business, logistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Customs Broker
- In-depth knowledge of customs laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
