Join our dynamic team as a US Customs Supervisor, where you'll lead and oversee all customs clearance operations to ensure seamless import and export processes in compliance with federal regulations. This vital role involves managing a team of customs coordinators, working with freight and logistics providers, and ensuring adherence to CBP and other PGA regulatory standards and guidelines. Your expertise will help optimize supply chain efficiency, mitigate risks, and uphold the highest standards of compliance management. Responsibilities Supervise daily customs clearance activities, ensuring timely processing of freight shipments while maintaining compliance with all applicable CBP and other PGA regulatory standards. Coordinate with logistics providers, freight carriers, and supply chain partners to facilitate efficient transportation management and fleet operations. Oversee regulatory reporting requirements related to customs documentation, import/export declarations, and compliance audits. Implement risk management strategies to identify potential compliance issues or delays in the supply chain, proactively addressing them to minimize disruptions. Manage a team of customs coordinators, providing training on customs procedures and regulatory updates. Maintain accurate report writing for customs activities, incident reports, and compliance documentation for internal review and external audits. Ensure adherence to safety protocols by conducting regular safety inspections aligned within the customs operations environment. Communicate with CBP officers, FTZ operators, and other regulatory agencies as needed. Provide training and guidance to internal teams on FTZ, inbond, and export processes. Manage inbond (IT, T&E, IE) transactions, ensuring accurate creation, tracking, closure, and compliance with CBP timelines. Prepare and submit SED/EEI filings through AES as required for exports. Support the preparation and submission of customs entries, including coordination with brokers and internal teams. Maintain compliance with CBP regulations and internal SOPs. Maintain auditready documentation and support internal/external audits. Assist with updates to SOPs, and compliance programs. Experience Proven experience in customs supervision or a similar role within logistics or supply chain environments. Strong knowledge of US Customs regulations, PGA requirements related to imported goods. Demonstrated ability to manage freight operations, transportation logistics, and fleet management effectively. Experience with regulatory reporting systems and compliance management tools. Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail for documentation related to customs clearance and risk assessments. Experience with RB Systems. Ability to lead teams confidently while fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
