Overview Seeking an experienced Air Import/Export Specialist to manage international air freight operations, customs clearance, documentation, and trade compliance. The role will ensure shipments move efficiently, safely, and in line with all applicable regulations. Responsibilities Coordinate air import and export shipments from booking through final delivery. Manage customs clearance, shipping documentation, tariffs, and licensing requirements. Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams. Monitor air freight movements and resolve shipment or clearance issues. Ensure compliance with customs, export controls, OFAC, FDA, OSHA, and transport regulations . Maintain accurate shipment and compliance records using logistics systems and Excel. Support audits, reporting, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance activities. Stay up to date with changes in international trade and air freight regulations. Requirements Proven experience in air freight import/export operations . Strong knowledge of customs procedures, international trade, and export controls. Experience with freight forwarders, airlines, and customs brokers. Understanding of OFAC, FDA, OSHA, and transportation compliance . Proficiency in logistics/trade management systems and Excel. Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay:

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
