This position helps in allocating new carriers, setting them up in the system, and use the carriers to cover loads to meet the customers needs. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, develop new business relations, and maintain high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage large amounts of incoming calls Generate new leads Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction Data entry in our McLeod software Set up new carriers Look for carriers to cover loads Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies Skills Minimum 2 years experience in the broker/logistics industry Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Microsoft office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) Must have a high school diploma, college degree is preferred Experience with McLeod software is preferred but not mandatory
