Type:

full-time Fast growing healthcare services company is looking for a rockstar controller to join the team! This position reports to the CFO will oversee the organization's accounting operations, including the month-end close, financial reporting, cash flow management, and internal control processes for a rapidly expanding, multi-location organization. This position will provide leadership to the accounting team, including the Assistant Controller and AP Manager, while acting as the key liaison for external auditors and lenders. The Controller will also play an integral role in supporting growth initiatives by leading the financial integration and accounting transition of newly acquired locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the financial close and consolidated reporting process. Oversee GAAP compliance, technical accounting, and financial reporting. Manage the annual external audit and auditor relationships. Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies. Oversee accounting integration for acquisitions, including purchase accounting and system conversions. Manage and develop the accounting team while scaling processes to support growth. Partner with FP&A and Operations on financial reporting and standardization. Oversee balance sheet, revenue, inventory, and COGS accounting. Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience CPA strongly preferred but not required 7-10 years' of progressively responsible experience in management Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and tax knowledge Experience in gathering, evaluating, presenting and reporting financial information to executive teams and external stakeholders Strong understanding and application of generally accepted accounting principles and practices Commitment to recruiting, mentoring, training, and retaining a diverse team and ability to delegate accordingly Keen analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation High proficiency with MS Excel and Word including complex pivot tables Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board, or other outside partners Ability to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers
