full-time A luxury residential construction firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Director of Project Accounting to lead a growing accounting function supporting a portfolio of residential projects.
Responsibilities:
Oversee project accounting for a portfolio of residential construction projects, ensuring accuracy across job costing, billing, and reporting Partner closely with the CFO and Business Director of Operations to drive financial visibility across active projects Lead and develop an accounting team, ensuring strong controls and process discipline Manage month-end close, WIP schedules, and project profitability analysis
Requirements:
Prior experience in residential or commercial construction accounting Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's and/or CPA a strong plus Familiarity with Sage Intacct a plus
