Director of Corporate Accounting | $200,000-$230,000 + Bonus | Las Vegas, Nevada Full-time, in-office position Are you a CPA with strong public-company accounting and leadership experience? Ready to improve processes and help shape a growing manufacturing finance function? The role Energy Talent Search is recruiting an experienced Director of Corporate Accounting for a Las Vegas manufacturing organization. This senior leadership role combines technical accounting expertise, team development, and process improvement. You will oversee corporate accounting, partner with senior finance leaders, and support the organization's continued growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, consolidations, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
  • Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and processes in line with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements.
  • Oversee accounting for inventory, product costs, revenue, capital assets, and intercompany activity.
  • Review consolidated financial information and resolve complex accounting matters.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
  • Improve close processes, reporting accuracy, controls, systems, and overall efficiency.
  • Partner with finance, operations, supply chain, legal, and other teams on business initiatives. The person You will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Active CPA license.
  • 10+ years of accounting experience with significant leadership responsibility.
  • Strong public-company accounting experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of
U.S. GAAP, SEC
reporting, and SOX/internal controls.
  • Experience leading financial close, consolidations, and reporting.
  • Strong team leadership and development skills.
  • ERP and financial reporting systems experience; SAP is a plus.
  • Manufacturing, inventory, or cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with executives and auditors.
  • Candidates must be U.
