This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced property accounting professional who enjoys managing a team, improving processes, and serving as a key financial partner to the broader organization. The right candidate will bring strong property accounting experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a complex portfolio while continuing to improve the accounting function. Why This Role Stands Out Leadership opportunity with significant responsibility and visibility Manage and develop a talented accounting team Opportunity to improve processes, systems, and reporting Exposure to senior leadership and multiple areas of the business Stable organization with a growing portfolio Combination of technical accounting and leadership responsibilities What You Will Be Responsible For Lead the property accounting function and oversee day-to-day accounting operations Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team Oversee month-end and year-end close processes Review financial statements and reporting for accuracy and completeness Manage accounting across a diverse portfolio of properties and entities Partner with internal stakeholders to address accounting and reporting needs Establish and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Assist with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and other financial initiatives Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen the overall accounting function What We Are Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Significant property accounting experience Previous accounting leadership or management experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience managing multiple entities and complex accounting structures Strong Excel and accounting systems skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to operate independently while working collaboratively with leadership and other departments CPA is a plus Local candidates only.
