Location:
Kent, WA (Hybrid) About Us Our client is a growing restaurant franchise and development company operating multiple business entities across the United States. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team and work closely with leadership on accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and financial planning. This role offers the opportunity to support a dynamic organization involved in restaurant operations, franchise development, and business growth. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with
U.S. GAAP.
Manage accounting and tax compliance for multiple business entities. Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close. Prepare financial reports and provide analysis to support management decision-making. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals. Support tax planning initiatives while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Maintain and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting procedures. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar ERP/accounting systems. Support business growth, franchise operations, and new development initiatives as needed. Required Qualifications Active
U.S. CPA
license required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and tax compliance. Experience managing accounting for multiple business entities is preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, franchise, or real estate development industry. Public accounting experience is highly preferred. Experience with multi-entity accounting, partnership taxation, or franchise operations. Familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
