Position Concept Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Financial Aid, the Financial Aid Specialist I assumes direct responsibility for providing precise information to students on the methods and sources of financial aid in strict adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulations. This role involves ensuring the prompt resolution of all student requests. Minimum Qualifications The following minimum qualifications for this position must be met before any applicant will be considered: Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution required. Financial Aid knowledge preferred. Customer service experience. Banner experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills. Familiarity with Microsoft. Must be in good standing with student loans if applicable. Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator's license required. A review of Social Media activity will be part of the candidate evaluation process. This position will require successful fingerprinting and the candidate chosen will be required to pay (currently $36.00). This fingerprinting fee ($36.00) is non-refundable.
