State Aid Reviewer Keiser University - 3.3 Fort Lauderdale, FL Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Qualifications Computer skills Associate's degree Full Job Description The State Aid Reviewer primarily works with the State Aid Team Director and designated staff/team members to accurately review and report students to the state of Florida, as well as assisting with telecommunication for the department. The key functions of State Aid Reviewer is to review and report student state aid to the Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) state website. Handle telecommunications for the department This is accomplished through: 1. Reviewing student eligibility for state funding. 2. Keeping updated on regulatory and state policies. 3. Tracking and organizing reports/spreadsheets. 4. Answering and directing calls to the appropriate personnel
Student State Aid-Quality Assurance and Approval:
Run reports to determine eligible pool of potential state aid students: 1. Review all student generated by reports. 2. Review various reports to locate additionally eligible students. 3. Regularly communicate with Director and other staff members regarding tracking of reports and funding status. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must for the Reviewer position. The State Aid Reviewer is responsible for reviewing: 1. Student accounts for active/non-active status and accuracy. 2. Needs to be comfortable with computer programs such as excel.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Minimum Associate's degree. Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience in the financial aid field or related profession strongly encouraged of applicants.
