The Financial Aid Office Assistant is responsible for assisting in the processing of student/veteran files, providing customer service to financial aid student populations in person and via phone, and the processing of student/veteran documents The Financial Aid Office Assistant is responsible to the Financial Aid Manager/Financial Aid Veterans Coordinator. Responsibilities Assist with maintaining new, active, inactive, and pending files for students and veterans. Processing incoming mail, emails, and voicemails from students as needed. Answer incoming phone calls from financial aid students. Provide face-to-face customer service to financial aid students as needed. Scan documents into the campus system, and check for accuracy. Complete other clerical tasks for Financial Aid as needed. Minimum Qualifications A Waubonsee student enrolled in at least one credit. Have a minimum GPA of 2.0 or above. Be in good standing with Student Conduct. Be making Satisfactory Academic Progress. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive material. Good human relations and communication skills.
