Primary Purpose of Position The primary purpose of this position is to process Federal Direct and private alternative loans. This position also provides assistance and information to students and parents regarding federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs, as well as general administrative support to the Senior Assistant Director for Loans.
Minimum Education/Experience Required Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Job Duties Financial Aid Loan Processing & Awarding:
Efficiently pull, process, and award alternative (private) student loans and Federal Direct PLUS loans in accordance with institutional, federal, and state regulations.
Loan Modification & Lifecycle Management:
Execute accurate and timely loan updates, adjustments, cancellations, and revisions for all federal and PLUS loan programs to maintain data integrity.
Specialized Institutional Loan Administration:
Manage the end-to-end processing and tracking of the school's in-house loan program (Jamieson Loan Program), ensuring compliance with internal policies and donor intent.
Case Management & Student Support:
Oversee and resolve financial aid inquiries and workflows utilizing Salesforce CRM, ensuring a high level of customer service and timely response rates.
Proactive Account Resolution & Follow-Up:
Monitor student accounts to identify financial aid holds, incomplete applications, or missing documentation. Routinely follow up with students and families to facilitate completion and prevent funding delays.
Compliance & Data Integrity:
Maintain strict adherence to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations, federal financial aid guidelines, and university data standards when handling sensitive student information. Other Work Responsibilities Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
