Apply experience with accounting/finance, data analytics, and reporting technologies to increase the accuracy and usefulness of finance and accounting relating reporting, systems, and analytics for multiple business leaders and departments. Essential Job Functions include the following, other duties may be assigned: Analyze, design and develop software-based solutions to business challenges. Add value to our organization by making complex data sets easy to digest. Provide timely and accurate data to the organization s key decision makers. Participate in ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements to existing systems and platforms such as Epicor, BisTrack and Microsoft Dynamics GP. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve world-class solutions. Make recommendations for continuous improvement. Work alongside other software engineers and developers to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices. Specialized focus in financial and accounting analytics Job Duties must perform the following duties to achieve essential job functions, other duties may be assigned: Process ad-hoc requests for SQL based reporting changes and develop new reports, smartviews and dashboards as required to support company initiatives. Analyze existing SQL reporting and procedure runtimes to achieve optimal efficiency. Identify market trends and develop processes to support automation and data analytics. Interface with IT team members and other departments, primarily accounting and finance, concerning project-based initiatives. Attend meetings and travel as required. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have accounting or finance related experience and technical support experience is a plus. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Computer Skills Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as accounting and finance terminology. Very technology oriented with basic understanding of databases, programming concepts, and excel functions. Experience with G/L and financial reporting is required. Experience with Microsoft GP Dynamics preferred.
  • This is not a remote position. Must be based at Corporate Office in Jonesboro, AR.
