Financial Coordinator at WVPD Partnership Job Description WVPD Partnership, a renowned leader in orthodontic financial management solutions, is excited to announce an open position for a Financial Coordinator. Join our vibrant team in a pivotal full-time role that underscores our commitment to exceptional financial stewardship and client satisfaction. This position is based in our head office and is not eligible for remote work, as it necessitates direct interaction with our staff and clients. The Financial Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes specific to our orthodontic services. The ideal candidate for this role will oversee the financial planning, monitoring, and reporting at our firm, ensuring compliance with legal standards and fostering trust and transparency with our clients. Duties and Responsibilities Administer and review patient financing options and orchestrate the financial agreements according to the office protocols. Collaborate with patient coordinators to verify insurance benefits and coverage for planned orthodontic treatments. Track patient billing processes, ensuring accuracy in invoicing and expeditious handling of payments. Coordinate and reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare detailed monthly financial reports. Oversee the collection processes and implement strategies to reduce the incidence of overdue accounts. Maintain comprehensive records of all financial patient interactions in the practice management software. Act as the primary contact for patient inquiries regarding their account status and billing issues. Liaise with external financial entities such as banks and credit institutions to manage credit facilities for patients. Work closely with the office manager to forecast budget needs and financial projections for the clinic. Provide training and support to other administrative staff on financial policies and the use of financial software tools. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations concerning financial practices within healthcare. Prepare for and participate in internal audits to verify the accuracy of financial data and adherence to financial policies and procedures. Engage in regular professional development to remain adept with current financial practices and legislation related to orthodontic care financing. Requirements At least 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a healthcare setting. Profound knowledge of dental insurance and billing practices specific to orthodontics. Strong proficiency in practice management software and advanced Excel skills. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and produce comprehensive reports. Demonstrated experience in handling sensitive financial information with integrity and confidentiality. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, necessary for interacting with clients and team members. A proactive problem-solver who is adept at managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Commitment to ongoing professional development in financial policies, procedures, and compliance within the orthodontic specialization. Resourceful team-player who enjoys a collaborative work environment but can also function independently when required.
