Veritas Global Protection Services is a dynamic and growing company. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. This individual will play a key role in assisting our Director of Finance and CEO with financial reporting and analysis, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial and accounting operations within the company.Position Overview:
As a Financial Analyst, you will work closely with the Director of Finance and CEO, assisting with the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial reports. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Finance and CEO with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Analyze financial data and trends, providing insights that support decision-making. Prepare variance analysis and highlight key financial performance indicators. Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals. Assist in the development of financial models and scenarios for strategic planning. Work with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required). 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field. Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and accounting software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Strong work ethic and team player.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with senior executives, especially CFOs or CEOs. Base knowledge of accounting concepts and principals. Knowledge of accounting systems and advanced financial tools.What We Offer:
