Get to Know This Role The Financial Analyst - Co Packing will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of all financial statements related to Co-Packing. The role will report to the FP&A Supervisor and work closely with the Co-Packing Management and cross functional leads regarding Co-Packing operations. This position plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of gathering and verifying data, preparing necessary journal entries, posting transactions and reconciling general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy of financial information and practices. They will also help the organization understand the Co-Packing P&L, identify anomalies & inefficiencies in processes, create supporting systems and reports to improve insights, productivity, and quality and provide meaningful and actionable analysis to guide the company's success from a financial perspective. What You Will Do Act as Lead Financial Team Member for all Co-Packing operations Develop, maintain, and optimize analytical reports that support data driven decision making. Including but not limited to P&L's, forecasting, budgeting & other accounting related duties regarding Co-Packaging Operations. Support Co-Packaging related financial planning activities around quarterly forecast and annual budgeting process. Identify opportunities, operational concerns and make recommendations to streamline processes, and re-engineering in accounting and financial processes with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Development and maintenance of forecasting, standard product costing, master routings, BOMs, and activity-based costing activities. Perform month-end closing procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and management reporting. Oversee the accounting for the entire co-packing business inventory, revenue and expenses, cash reconciliation, and other balance sheet accounts. Reconcile balance sheet accounts to the general ledger and ensure accurate valuation. Please Apply if You Have Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting or any combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved required 5 years of finance and accounting experience working in a manufacturing environment, including serial/high-volume production operations required and 2 years Advanced Analytical capabilities required Deep expertise in manufacturing accounting including standard cost modeling, BOM/Routing integrity, WIP and valuation inventory flows, overhead absorption, and variance analysis across cost elements High command of accounting cycles; procure to pay, order to cash, plan to manufacture Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and high-growth environment Demonstrated strong analytical skills Must possess a continuous improvement mindset, with a results-oriented philosophy and take initiative on improving processes Desire and aptitude to be curious, learn, question the numbers and get to the root cause Self-motivated and capable of working independently and take ownership of role High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and numbers driven data Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required to perform and interact at senior management level and with cross functional internal parties Excellent problem solving, decision making and organizational skills Experience with Oracle Essbase and databases is preferred Proficiency with MS Office suite and Power BI with expert level experience using Outlook & Excel Experience with ERP systems Additional Requirements to Consider Before Applying You must be at least 21 years of age to perform the duties of this position for Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.;Selected candidate must pass a pre-employment, post offer background check.
