Accounting Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounting Analyst with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable to join our clients team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a foundation in accounting while gaining hands-on experience in billing, cash applications, and customer account management.

This position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable (Primary Focus)Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely mannerPost and reconcile daily cash receipts, including ACH, wire, and check paymentsApply payments to customer accounts and resolve unapplied cashMonitor aging reports and follow up on past-due balancesAssist with collections efforts, including customer outreach via email and phoneInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and disputesMaintain accurate customer account records and update billing information as neededSupport credit reviews and new customer setup
