Accounting Analyst - Manufacturing (Revenue & Data Analytics Focus) Position Summary A well‑established manufacturing company in Corona, CA is seeking a full‑time Accounting Analyst with advanced analytical capabilities, strong financial acumen, and exceptional attention to detail. This role is responsible for supporting revenue integrity, analyzing financial and operational data, and ensuring accurate reporting across high‑volume accounts, including major big box retailers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, accuracy, and the ability to interpret complex data sets to support decision‑making and drive operational efficiency. The Accounting Analyst will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure data accuracy, compliance with retailer requirements, and timely financial reporting. Essential Skills & Qualifications Minimum 3 years of accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution industry. Experience working with big box retailers (e.g., Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, Costco, Target) including familiarity with retailer portals, compliance requirements, chargebacks, and vendor performance metrics. Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas, conditional formatting, and large‑dataset manipulation. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Experience with revenue analysis, margin review, and reconciliation of high‑volume accounts. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding company, customer, and partner information. Highly organized, self‑motivated, and capable of independently prioritizing and completing critical tasks with urgency. Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to management. Key Responsibilities Analyze revenue streams, retailer deductions, chargebacks, shortages, and customer fines to ensure accuracy and identify root causes. Maintain and update financial databases, dashboards, and spreadsheets to support revenue reporting and operational decision‑making. Perform detailed a ccounts receivable analysis, including reconciliation of payments, retailer remittances, and deduction activity. Generate and interpret data‑driven reports such as backorder summaries, shortage reports, retailer compliance metrics, and profitability analyses. Monitor retailer accounts for discrepancies, slow‑paying customers, and irregular activity; escalate issues to management as needed. Collaborate with operations, sales, logistics, and customer service teams to resolve billing inconsistencies, data errors, and retailer‑specific compliance issues. Review and monitor assigned accounts, ensuring timely follow‑up on outstanding balances and retailer deductions. Support billing, revenue recognition processes, and other accounting functions as needed. Communicate with customers, retailers, and third‑party institutions to resolve invoicing, payment, and deduction inquiries.
