Internship About the Role The Project Cost Analyst Intern plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our AI Data Annotation and LLM projects. You will bridge the gap between technical operations and financial planning, ensuring that our high-scale data labeling initiatives remain within budget while identifying strategic cost-saving opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Cost Tracking & Analysis:
Collect and evaluate financial and operational data specifically related to large-scale data labeling and LLM training.
Excel Modeling:
Build and maintain advanced Excel models to conduct variance analysis, helping the team understand discrepancies between projected budgets and actual spending.
Budget Preparation:
Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for upcoming AI projects.
Efficiency Identification:
Investigate cost drivers and recommend corrective actions or cost-reduction strategies to improve project ROI.
Stakeholder Reporting:
Prepare and present weekly or ad hoc cost reports to management, highlighting trends and potential financial bottlenecks.
Audit Support:
Assist in the auditing of cost-related transactions and ensure accurate documentation of vendor invoices. Requirements Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a Finance, Accounting, or Business Analytics major.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling) is mandatory.
- Strong analytical mindset with an interest in the "business of AI.
