A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to join its finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally, support key financial reporting processes, and contribute to operational and accounting initiatives that drive business performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to identify trends and provide meaningful insights to management. Key Responsibilities Analyze financial results, costs, variances, and trends, providing recommendations and insights to leadership. Partner with operational teams to review and monitor monthly manufacturing and production-related expenses. Assist with month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and supporting schedules. Prepare accruals and other journal entries in accordance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Complete detailed balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Support annual audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests. Assist with tax-related reporting and filing requirements. Develop ad hoc financial analyses and reports to support decision-making across the business. Help strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and process improvements. Collaborate with technology and systems teams to enhance accounting processes and reporting capabilities. Stay informed on accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Participate in special projects and other finance initiatives as needed. Qualifications Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Working knowledge of

U.S. GAAP.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: Pivot Tables

XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP SUMIFS INDEX/MATCH

Conditional Formatting Data Validation Large dataset analysis Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities. Ability to communicate financial information effectively to management and cross-functional teams. Comfortable preparing reports, presenting findings, and supporting business decisions through data analysis. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. 4+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience.
